The hardwood was glued to a concrete floor. They removed all hardwood, cleaned and polished concrete floor, installed new flooring, wood trim and painted. The crew was excellent, on time each day and cleaned up after themselves each day. We really appreciated that as we were still living in the house at the time. back to Normal made our life easier as they handled everything from moving furniture and replacing as needed. When we had a water leak upstairs and water leaking through a ceiling light fixture on the lower level; I freaked out and called our insurance agency. We did not... read more want to file a claim if it wasn't necessary, however were very concerned with an electrical fire, etc. The insurance company sent their preferred contractor (I was not aware that someone was coming to our home and was told I would get a call from them). Not even minutes later a guy calls and says he is in front of our house and came in talking about needing to immediately ripping out walls, etc. Luckily, I said I was not ready to make that determination and he stormed off rather rudely. I was sharing this and asking a neighbor questions about the situation. He mentioned that I give Back to Normal Restoration a call. I did, they showed up that evening, took a look around and gave me their opinion, our options, as well as a time frame per their schedule to expect anything be completed (this is during the pandemic). My husband and I spoke about it that evening and notified the insurance company the following day that we have chosen a different contractor. Back to Normal Restoration then worked with our insurance agency to get it all financially coordinated and kept us in the loop at every step. The crew was very professional, kind and courteous of our belongings during the process. We could not be happier and I would recommend Back to Normal Restoration to anyone. They are extremely efficient and work for their customers, doing right by them and being very informative navigating the insurance aspect. Highly recommend their work!
